5th September 2011 -  Microspec announces availability of Sage ACT! 2012

The latest version of ACT! Professional and ACT! Premium CRM software from Sage is now available.  Exciting new features include easier installation, Google integration and synchronisation with Gmail, a Scratchpad feature and a new search facility that takes in attached Word and Excel documents as well as the database.  There is an upgrade path for existing users so they too can get the benefits of ACT! 2012.   Contact us for further details.

29th August 2011 – Microspec announces availability of Sage 50 Accounts 2012

We are now shipping the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts (2012).  Improvements include simplified network installation and registration, increased chart of accounts flexibility, accounts lock feature, quick search and quick print plus lots more.  Sage have also released Sage 50 Mobile, allowing anytime/anywhere access to your accounts from smartphones such as Blackberry, iPhone and Android.  Contact us for further details.

25th March 2011 - Kudos CounterPoint and Aures Epos Systems for use with Sage or Access Accounts

Central Scotland’s longest established Software and IT services company Microspec, is pleased to announce that Gemma Shankland has joined the team.  

Lyndsey Pettigrew, Co. Secretary commented “We are really delighted to have Gemma on board.   Her position with us as an IT Support Technician means that Gemma will be speaking to our clients on a daily basis, so it is good for our customers to put a face to the friendly and helpful voice.

Gemma, who joined us on 1^stJuly, recently finished her HND in Software Development at Falkirk College.   Gemma did exceptionally well in her HND, achieving an “A” in  Software Development and gaining Microsoft Certified Professional status as well as coming out top in her whole year.   A brilliant  accomplishment.”

4th June, 2010 – GoldMine Premium Edition Version 9.0 Now Available

A free of charge upgrade is available to existing Goldmine Premium users who have a current maintenance agreement. This is now available via NetUpdate.  GoldMine users not on a current maintenance agreement should contact Microspec for advice and to discuss options.

08 March, 2010 – Datafile Software Release 6.3

Release 6.3 of Datafile Accounting Software is now available for download from their software support site.  This version includes the Payroll Update for the end of the tax year 2009/2010 and the new 2010/2011 tax year. Enhancements and improvements have concentrated on new developments for the Credit Control Manager, improved Email options for Outlook 2007 and general developments throughout the system.  Contact us for further information.
